Has anyone had the opportunity to audition the Blue Circle Dar integrated. I'm looking to upgrade my amplification and it's on my short list. I currently own a pair of Totem Forests and have heard the two sound good together. My room is 15X15 square with 8 ft ceilings. Thanks for any advice.

Personally, I'd start with the ROOM. It is square and the ceiling is about 1/2 either the length OR width.
Bad JU JU.

Optimizing the room acoustically and speaker placement will go a long way to seeming to buy new stuff....which will have the same problems as the old stuff....the room.

I understand about the room treatment and have taken steps. I am currently running a Rega Mira 3 as I recently got rid of a Krell S300i to help finance this purchase. The Rega is only 60 watts into 8 ohms so I need to step up a bit in power and had heard this was a good match.

What did you not like about the Krell?

I never warmed to the Krell. I expected more extended bass and honestly the amp seemed strained. My 60 watt Rega sounded much better in comparison.

I never warmed up the Krell sound when I had one either.
