Hi Guys sorry if this is in the wrong place. I have a kenwood kr v7050 amp for the last few years i have only had a cd player conected to it ,recently i got given a Realistic Direct Drive Turntable LAB-430 it is grounded and connected via phono sockets. my problem is the 45 and 33 records sound terrible like old 78s with a lot of backgound noise is this because i need a pre amp or is it down to a fault with the kenwood amp.The cd side of the amp is perfect no problems with the sound output Many thanks
