I am a newbie and had been browsing through the forum for about 2 hours but done seem to be able to find an answer to the above.

I have a Bose AM20P setup as Zone 2 but it is hardly used. I would like to explore whether it is possible to use it for a non-Bose music source.

Ideally, I would want to be able to use AirPlay to an AirPort Express so that I can listen to my iPhone music through the AM20P.

I have yet to figure out how to configure the connection between the 3.5mm from the AirPort Express to the perhaps RCA to the 5-pin DIN. Any advice on this area would be appreciated.

Thanks

The AirPort Express also has an OPTICAL output.
If what you want to connect it to has optical IN you are all set.
3.5 to RCA is easy to find. For optical? You'll need a mini toslink adaptor, which is cheap.

Leo, thanks for your reply. Browsing through the forum again I noticed some discussion around the fact the compatible console is required because there is a new to able to power on the AM even when the on/off switch is set to "on" state.

Any experience or comments?
