Hi,

Just wondering, when you copy an original audio CD using Nero (to a blank CD-R) will you loss any quality??

Nero converts into .wav format when doing this, am I right?

Many thanks in advance!

if your doing a direct copy you shouldnt lose any quality. If your saving the tracks to your computer first, than nero saves them as mp4 I think, but thats only if you rip cds

I only have one CD-writer, so files will have to go to the hard drive first. Does this mean mp4 for me???

There is a loss, but can your system reveal the difference? If you listen to these in the car then it's fine. Exact Audio Copy is a better program, google it.

yeah,i agree somewhat with alan v, but not necessarily mp4.. if your doing it through realplayer u have options as to what format u would like to save it as and also bit rate..
yeah, the quality does drop a bit when saving them to ur pc, and then ripping them as an audio cd..
