This is what I have done so far. It's a nice sound quality system. I like it, but there's still some things I have to get done. Progress is slow because I've had alot of work to do lately... But, here it is:

This is my car. Nothing to brag about, an '89 Grand Am:

The donor car I got to fix the little rust spots, and for the power windows/locks:

This is my head unit, a Clarion DEH655MP

My first sub box, pvc ported tuned to 33Hz but there's port noise (ugh!):

My second box, slot ported and also tuned to 33Hz. I still have to cover it in leather like the first one:

This is when I had my friends Clarion amp in my car along with my old Infinity 310A:

This is the first amp I had. Infinity 310a:

New amp I got a few months ago. Infinity 611A:

My subs, I have two of these. Infinity 1230:

This is what I plan on doing when I cover my sub box. Raise the lettering. This was done quickly just to see how it would look:

Well that's it folks. Let me know what you think. I plan on getting some Infiniy 6.5" component speakers for the doors after I get rid of the window handles and get the power windows put in.

See how the seat with the amps mounted folds down and you can see the back of the sub box? I usually drive around that way because it sounds better/louder. I was thinking of using foam to do that raised look under the leather so when you look back at it, it doesnt just look plain like the back of a sub box. The terminals are on the side, out of sight, so you can't see any wires and that amp rack has all the wires ran underneath it. When i get my car cleaned out I'll post more pics, and when I get all the body work done and a paint job, I'll post more. Until then, keep the messages coming. :-)

Here's some more:

This is the port with a routered flare:

This is the foam flame design on the back you see when the seat is down:

The Infinity logo:

And here is the finished box:

I'll take more pictures of it in the trunk tomorrow if I have time.

what size were the tube ports on ur box, and what size was the box???

they look like 2" ports, and they dont look like they are flared, i think thats why u had port noise. not enought port area, and no flare for enter and exit.

Those were 4" ports, and I think the port noise was from the inserts to hide the seem of the vinyl, but it also whistled when it was just painted, and there was a routered flare then too. Its probablly because it wasn't flared at the other end.

I haven't been on this site in a LONG time. Since my last post I got a new car and started university.. So progress has been slow. I have some plans and I'll MAYBE get around to them this summer time. I'll be getting some new speakers and making ANOTHER new sub box.. Probably using some Fiberglas. Spring loaded fold down back seats to show a nice amp rack.. I have all the things I need.. Except time to do it all!
