Just a few pics for now. I was having problems with my camera and a bunch of pics turned out blurry.

This is my newest toy! A Parasound HCA-855A. I just love this amp. It just keeps pumping it out at unreal volumes.

Sorry this is a little fuzzy. I'll try again soon. It is my Outlaw 950 Pre/Pro with Pioneer DV-563A.

My center speaker. A Klipsch RCX-4. This was the biggest I could squeeze between my components.

All of the speakers uncovered. I think the copper woofers look sweet!

Rockin' system!

How do you like your Outlaw Pre/Pro? Any drawbacks?

Surrounds Klipsch too?

Hi John,

Thanks for your comments. I love my Outlaw 950! There isn't anything that I have found that I would call a drawback. It smokes my Pioneer receiver that I moved to my daughter's room. Yes, the surrounds are Klipsch they are quintets which are on my upgrade list. Upload

Considering the very high effenciency of the Klipsch's that Parasound amp is coasting even at high volume levels.

You are so right John. I haven't been able to bring the 950 past 0 and even then the amp never gets anywhere near what could be considered very warm let alone hot.

I was listening to Metallica's Black release on DVD-A last weekend and at -10dB's on the preamp I was getting spl's of 115 dB's with my radio shack meter. It sure put a smile on my face!

Be careful: a smile on your face is good, but +115dB could be a bad thing for your ears for any length of time....:-)

It's cool John. I never listen at that volume for more than a few minutes. but, it does bring my back to my younger days of many concerts.

John
very nice..I am looking forward to get my system going. How does that center channel (Klipsch RCX-4) work with your Outlaw 950. Do you wish at time that you had a larger CC?

Jav

Great set up

Jav,

Thanks for the comments.

I think the RCX-4 works very well with the 950. The 950 has multiple crossovers that work well with most speakers. I would have to say no with regards to a larger CC. This speaker does a great job of pumping it out.

I think getting a rack space would complete your set wounderful setup there.
