Nice!
Those lights coming out the window right above your cabinets...don't they bother you when watching the TV?

Nice cabinets!

My wife picked out the cabinets (and the plasma was her idea), The sunlight comes through the window from 2pm-4pm Im usually not home to notice, otherwise its really nice. The cabinets have those "touch to light" hinges.

How did you get your wife to accept the idea of adding tower speakers down the road, Ken? I also noticed something else about your living room, however. You have a ceiling fan. How is that fan of yours able to withstand the wraths of your home theater's subwoofer without falling off the ceiling?

Well. She hasn't seen the Infinity speakers yet. I'm going to go demo them for her tonight at the local CC. I'm not a bass freak so I dont turn it up past the point of needing it, and the ceiling fan is mounted decently.

Has anyone else had issues with ceiling fans and bass? I never took it into consideration before.

I'm pretty excited :-)

You'll just have to hook everything up and see:-)

If the globes arent tightly secured, they might rattle which would be extremely annoying. It's nothing you couldnt fix though. If you play your movies with much volume, eliminating things that rattle will be an ongoing adventure. If I turn mine too loud, the walls will buzz all by themselves from the inside.

Use the slow "THX" rattle test, this is a slow frequency sweep starting from 100Hz down to 20Hz, and you well be able to also identify other rattles or buzzing sounds that's not part of the soundtrack, this is a real slow process which can take a few hours to perform, and doing it at different SPL db levels....

Doesnt your plasma suffer from burn-in, since you use it for video games
