Hey Andre, I wanted to do the same thing, you'll need to get a AC to DC Converter that can provide enough current...I haven't done it yet but if I do I'll post some pics...good luck

don't buy an AC DC converter thats just a waste of money. Get atx power suply (for computers). I got 2 550W ATX power suply hooked up in parallel gives me around 1100 Watts. Wired that up to 1200 Watt amp and 2 subs. IT SOUNDS INSANE inside the house, got a few complains 4um naighbors but it was alright U should do the same.
