hello all i have a 2016 F-150 with the base speaker option, thats

2x tweeters on the A-pillar
2x 6x9 in the front doors at 25w
and 2x 6" in the back doors the speaker was rated also at 25w but the magnet was the size of a oreo cookie

i have replaced the back speakers with KICKER 6" CS speakers, the RMS was 50-75 i believe. these are great and are not the issue here.
However the front two i replaced with 7'' KENWOOD exelon XR-1800 RMS is 180w, and peak 350w

i am using the stock head and am experiencing muffle at high volume when the bass hits. the speakers are extremely tight in their enclosures wiring connections are perfect and sound det in the doors.

i suspect lack of power from the factory head and am trying to confirm my theory but want to make sure before i install an amp inline as i do not wish to loose the climate controls.
