My sound has stopped working but the speakers work when no optical is plugged in.
I have a red light on my ps3 optical out which means the signal is working but on the back of my receiver for the surround sound the optical in audio has no red light (no sure if audio in is suppose to have a red light)... I noticed before it stopped working static was occurring and I'd have to twist my optical line to fix it...
So my question is on the back of the surround sound reciever for the. Optical audio in line is it also suspose to have a red light or does it sound like i need a new optical cord to fix the sound.
Going to my friends and gonna try his optical cord, then also gonna bring my cord and see if he gets sound with it to be sure... Hopefully it's just the cord
