I move into this apartment about a year ago...2 weeks in, the fridge goes out and all my crap in there spoils over the weekend while I'm out of town. Didn't have much in there since I just moved in, but it all spoiled. Landlord is cool, gets someone in there the next day to repair it. Fridge works the rest of the week and dies again...I lost a few microwavable things in the freezer, but only like $10 worth of stuff and a bag of ice.

He gets a new fridge in there 2 days later. All is cool.
I have had the fridge on 5 out of 7 since then.

Now, tonight, I go the grab a beer and my mountain's aint blue!!!
WTF???? Did this brand new fridge die too????
I just jacked it up to 7 out of 7 to see if it cools. I had some steaks in there and they stink

damit.
and i was looking forward to cookin that steak tonite.

Drinks in my fridge have a tendacy to feeze a little and have little ice crystals in them. Did your landlord put in a used fridge or was it a new one? If it was new it shouldn't have went bad already.

So there's power to the fridge but it's not cooling? If it was brand new it should be under warranty.

Place more stuff in the fridge to take up volume.

yes, the drain starts at the back bottom of the freezer and goes down the back to the condensation pan on the bottom. Use a compressor to blow it out after you defrost it for 5-6 hours. Very common this time of year.

Wow that sucks... I would start becoming very suspicious of the outlet those refrigerators were plugged into. Low voltage (under 110 volts) can kill household devices.
