Thanks!
I've never actually had knives before, my great grandpa used to collect them from the 40's 50's and 60's.

Well I have something for everyone I like to think. I have the lower end knives you wouldn't feel bad losing and I have some nice premium knives you'll have for years. It's just a matter of deciding how much you're going to use it and what you can afford. I have some people who collect so it's just going on a shelf anyway. Then I get the truck driver who needs something sturdy enough to cut nylon straps and rope all day. I wouldn't want to sell him a $3 knife if he's going to be disappointed. You have to make up your own mind and expect to get what you pay for. If all you need is a good little knife for the garden I have it. If you need to take down a moose I have something for you as well.

My wholesaler does carry Kershaw among many other higher echelon lines but I don't buy into them. They are fantastic knives but come at a price most of my customers shy away from. I mean $60 for a tactical knife is hard for most to swallow. I have great looking/constructed knives for 1/6th that. My business just isn't big enough yet to dive into that kind of inventory that would only sell maybe 1/month of?

I'm just starting out you know.

Are they really worth $60 a knife? That's a ton of $ for one knife.

I would say they are worth the $60, neither has failed me yet. although I made the mistake of trying to cut wire with the mini me kershaw, and kinda ate the knife up. but they are sharp, and stay that way. I've only sharpened my knives once in a year and a half.

Andrew, can you be a little more specific? I have a combat ranger knife, not fighter. I have a special forces 2 knife, not special forces. I'm going to hook you up but I at least want to get the ones you listed right. Shirt size also.

Thieves, I completely understand how some products are superior to others and are priced accordingly. My wholesaler sells them at $60 WHOLESALE however. They are retailed around $100. I just don't see it worth it for me. My $10 premium knives are VERY decent quality and will last for years. Nickel coated 440 stainless steel blades and real hardwood handles with stainless steel frames and lockbacks. Shoot, I have some of these knives all around my house and have yet to have one fail. Sure I have the cheaper ones for little dough, and they're still worth more than their price. Just don't expect a Kershaw quality knife for $3 lol.

well I also got the knife I carry because of the rough handle, makes for a good nail file or a cheap sand paper replacement lol. also the blades are coated, which makes them resistant to oils and rust. which I like cause my last blade for some reason started showing spots of rust, ON THE BLADE!!!!

also, the big blade was 60 while it's miniature counterpart was around 30, different style blades.

similar to this, the serrated edge is different:

and this one, without the unnecessary gold accents:

Good as they may be I personally wouldn't spend $60 on a knife. By comparison Kershaws are made from the same 440 stainless steel blades and metal liner locks as the premium knives I have. Not to mention my apache series knives weigh in over 5 1/2 ounces. More knife for less $.

I'd put the tactical fighter above the paratrooper but the rest looks like my list. The Honcho and Fire Fighter are premium knives with the rest lower down. Tactical fighter has a metal frame.

Where'd Andrew go lol?
