I can see it. In those events they sometimes wear ear protection. When you do you tend to lose your sense of attentiveness to your surroundings. Driver did nothing wrong yet he will shoulder guilt for the rest of his life I bet. Could have been worse, he could have been holding a puppy.

but seriously. that is one of those freak things. it looks to me like the guy saw the 1st truck go by and assumed it was the second truck. so he never looked behind himself and BOOM. :-(

and there were all kinds of kids there...i wonder if any of them will be messed up from that. its one thing to see that stuff on tv or an internet video. but to experience it in person is completely different.
