so my brother decided to order an alienware laptop. dropped a good chunk of change. then i told him what he could have got instead. needless to say, he's returning it. i've compiled a few things and heres what i've come up with.

i have general computer knowledge, but i'm no expert, so if anybody has any suggestions/opinions on this setup i would appreciate hearing them. the main goal of this unit will be for gaming. he doesn't need to run them at max resolution, but i want it to have enough power to run most games without lag under decent settings.

i figured to go with the sli mobo for future upgrades...and i plan on running xp pro on it
