When powering the tv on it clicks or cycles about five or six times before actually turning on. Never had this problem before anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks, Howard |

New member Username: FhePost Number: 1 Registered: Dec-11 | Google "Samsung LCD cycling" and it gives numerous instances and required repairs. Some capacitors require replacing and it is a relative inexpensive repair. |

Solder iron wattage should be at least 300 w. The PSB is the center Board (towards left) after you remove the back off the TV. Remove the shield that covers the Boards and remove Board from TV with the 6-7 screws. Replace capacitors CM852 & CM853; 2200ufd 25volts. Good Luck, big IRISH. New member Username: OrdPost Number: 1 Registered: Dec-11 | First of all I would like to thank everyone for the info. I can't speak on anything other than what happened with me. I was sure after reading about this repair that I could do it myself. But, just before ordering the caps on line I decided to call Samsung. This call couldn't have worked out better. After talking with them for a short time they said they would contact a service company and cover the cap repair under a one time warranty. (My set is four years old). I called them on 12/19/11 and within 36 hours the service company had been to my home and my TV is repaired. I would like to thank everyone on here again, for without the understanding of what was going on I think this could have cost me a bundle. |
