I have a Hitachi 70VS810 LCD rear projection TV. I've had the tv 7 years and just replaced the bulb for the second time. No big deal, bought the whole assembly and swapped it out. Works fine, so I thought. Now I have some random tint changes. Sometimes turns green or red for about 5 seconds, then returns normal. Then it started going light and dark. Same thing, only for about 5 seconds then returns normal. Now I'm getting a blue, green, red, or white grid across the screen for about 5 seconds, then it disappears. I have never had a problem with this set before and it never did this before the last bulb burnt out.
What is causing this? I hate to think it's time for a new TV...
