i used to have charter cable and had vcr hooked up to that to record programs which i then copied to a dvd using my sony dvd burner. now that i have the new dvr from fios, want to hook either vcr or the dvd burner into the dvr so i can copy recorded stuff onto either one from the dvr - first, fios is confusing, but since i have my computer and tv/dvr all hooked together - thats according to verizon - can control dvr from internet on pc - havent tried that yet but it makes sense to me if i can control box from pc, i shd be able to download either programs to pc or to the vcr or dvd burner - i do have "S" cable which i can either hook into vcr from dvr or to the dvd burner - just need to know if i have to use fios remote to get all this to work or not - not good at programing remotes - tks
