I know in general that private server idea (a little glorified card sharing) has been around for a long time. If somebody squeels on you you might get into trouble. Generally speaking, if you are the lead guy, there is more likelyhood of you getting in trouble than the others in your group, so strictly speking the IKSServer.com site is probably safer than you starting your own.
