Hi all. My first post so be kind!!

My HDTV has three component inputs, no HDMI. My HD cable box is therefore connected to my HDTV via component cables that were provided by my cable company. I am using Monster cables to connect my DVD and XBox 360 and am wondering if I would benefit from upgrading the cables connecting the cable box and TV. Seems like a no-brainer but I was curious if anyone might be able to provide some input.

Thanks in advance for any help!

In my experience cable company supplied components are adequate, especially for the compressed video they pump out of their boxes. I seriously doubt whether any cable company would provide sub-standard component cables to their customers. That would mean more headaches and service calls for them down the road. These companies are not stupid enough to hand out overpriced Monster cables, but it would be just as stupid for them to be overly cheap.
