I haven't had much luck with tv repair shops. Seems like every time I took a tv to shop, they always tell me it's junk but they will get rid of it for me.Next time I go by there, my tv is fixed and for sale. Anyway, my 1999 Mits was working great, the next day-I've got sound but no picture,I go to the menu and the picture is great and selected channel on in upper right corner.It also started shutting it self off after about 10 min., about 15 min. longer on menu. I pulled lower panel off back,did it's 12 year annual clean out/ same problem still. Any ideas would be greatfull, hate to get rid of it if it's a reasonable fix. Thanks, R.H.
keep SR#s and TELL THE SHOP you are giving it to that if you see the set for sale in their store, you will report it stolen? I don't know how that works. You MIGHT end up with a filing false report charge.
Get an agreement, for a % of the sale price AFTER they fix and sell.
