I am no longer using cable TV and need to route my computer through my TV to stream. I am also trying to use an external ZVOX sound base for audio. I have a Roku and a DVD player whose audio outputs are connected directly to the ZVOX and work fine. I am using an HDMI switch to change between the Roku, DVD and computer. It works fine for video, but I have been unable to get the audio from the computer stream to play through the ZVOX. It goes from the computer to the HDMI switch via an HDMI cable. On the HDMI switch, there is a coax audio output, which I have connected to the ZVOX coax audio input. However, the sound only plays through the internal TV speakers, not through the ZVOX. Any help is appreciated.
If most things seem to the working as planned, the answer is usually in your menus. There's no way for us to tell you where in each system. You just have to sit down in front of the system and look through each menu.
