I have a hum in my sub-woofer coming from male pins inside sub that flat band connects to with screws on either end. When you unplug and touch a certain male pin it will hum as well as when its plugged in to sub.
Level of hum increases when you turn up LFE volume but is always there even when turned all the way down.
I see where there are screws to open unit. Can this male pin plug in sub be replaced and if so, how?
Thank you!

OK, first, hum and buzz are two distinct symptoms. Hum is a 60Hz noise which is related to a ground issue in most cases.

Touching the pin proves nothing, any connector will create hum when you complete the ground circuit by touching a pin. The likelyhood the pin is your problem is less than the chance of being hit by lightning in August in West Texas.

The more realistic guess is there are grounding problems inside the circuitry. Given that is the case with hum issues in about 99.99% of any amplifier, try this; https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/home-audio/729585.html
