There are plenty of posts in the archives that explain how to connect eq's. Quadraflex was Pacific Stereo's house brand, mostly less than stellar components despite the "Reference" designation. Make cuts to eq controls rather than boosting them into the all too familiar eq "+12 smile". Do not use the eq as an additional volume control, level should not change when you engage/disengage the eq. The only thing that should change are the eq points you've selected. Anything more than a few dB of change in any one area means you should be looking at other solutions.

If it has ins and outs, it goes in the other tape loop.

You can daisy chain components on a tape loop. The problem develops into how difficult the process of using any one component becomes. If you have two tape loops and three components that require a tape loop, you have a problem. There's no other way to describe it.

What are you using the real time analyzer for? Just to watch lights flicker? A RTA is not a device that really needs to stay in line. It's purpose is to give a read out of the "real time" status of the room's frequency response. You then make corrections and there's no more need for a RTA until something in the room or the speakers change. If you just want a light show, it doesn't need to be hooked to anything other than its own microphone.
