.

Gee, Nuck, anything with a Laserdisc input can't be that hard to figure out.

For any preamplification/amplification device, the price (new) divided by the number of connections should never be less than 200. If it is, it's a gadget, not audio gear.

I'm just eyeballing this, but it got you thinking.

And yes Nuck, it looks confusing to me, as do most HT devices, with which I usually change the connections until I get picture and sound and then call it good.

LOL, Neil. I'm the same way.

Figuring out the remote is a whole other matter.

This is the epitome of simplicity:

I put up a schematic of my HT system about 10 years ago and told my 13 year old daughter at the time to just put it together. She did. It was much more complicated than anything posted here.

Yes, she is my "alpha" child and I let her know it whenever I can. She also bats left handed and is an All-Star softball player.

Now if I can only get her to appreciate my current kit...

Sorry guys but I just couldn't help plugging my Onkyo, as it's got such an easy layout for hooking up, all colour coded. No sweat to hook up this sucker.

I'd be very impressed if you could somehow manage to use every single one of those inputs George.

I guess if I tried to run all three zones I might have a chance to start filling it up. Not anytime soon for me.
