Can I split a track on an unfinalized CD-R on a Sony RCD-W500C? I recorded from analog source and it didn't insert track marks, so now I have two huge tracks. If I go to the middle of a track and quickly pause-record-stop, will that ruin the whole track or will I get a split? I don't want to lose what I've got. Thanks.

After each track did you press the pause botton
That will insert tracks
Maybe you can help me out Sam
I have a Sony RCDW500c Just like you with a Sony TCW5E835 Tape Deck I am trying to copy a tape to a cd. How can I set it up so inbetween tracks it can insert a track from the tape onto the CD With out having it record on the CD with one Track or many tracks inbetween the verses. I don't have the time to sit there all day and insert new tracks.
Or should I invest in Meritline DIGI Deck Plusdeck2 C where I can put the tape in my computer through Audio Cleaning Lab like I do for my music records to get rid of pops and clicks and crackes.
Hope you can give me some advise on this
