I have a regular IBM think pad laptop and I would like to make best use of my Tecnics stereo by running CD's or itunes from my PC thru to the Technic speakers. A shopkeeper sold me the appropriate leads but when I connected the PC to the stereo with the leads there was no music. I then ran leads thru a NAD phono preamp and I although now hear music any basslines get very distorted. Am I missing something? Why the distortion on CDs and Itunes. How can music run smoothly thru the stereo speakers? Thank you.
