Yamaha is now shipping the company’s new flagship A-S3000 integrated amplifier and CD-S3000 CD/SACD. With a classic retro look and the latest features, these units embody the culmination of the company’s long history and obsession with high performance 2-channel natural sound reproduction.
Yamaha has integrated a built-in USB DAC into the CD-S3000, enabling the listeners to enjoy high-resolution digital files. The DAC featured in the CD/SACD player is the 32-bit ESS Sabre32 Reference DAC.
The A-S3000 and CD-S3000 feature anti-vibration and distortion eliminating measures, including a rigid streamlined construction with the shortest possible cabling routes.
The CD-S3000 player allegedly accomplishes superior vibration control and ultra-precise signal reading via an optimized high-precision rigid CD mechanism.
The A-S3000’s floating and balanced design, with MOSFETs and a large toroidal transformer mounted within an independent three-dimensional inner frame, produce a warm tube-like sound, according to Yamaha.
The Yamaha A-S3000 and CD-S3000 are now available for $7,999.95 and $6,999.95, respectively.
