your ps3 uses blu tooth but your remote uses ir well this will change your ir into a blu signal letting you control all of the functions of your ps3.
no messing just add ps3 to your harmony activities pair up the adaptor to the ps3 in the accessories setup and thats it!

(4 out of 5) by SafeAndReliable on Nov 16, 2009 (UK)The product does work OK. It is the only solution I know of that CAN be used to control PS3 with a universal remote. BUT - it is pricey. There should be one bundled with a controller, and for less - this solution is really expensive, given that the PS3 controller is so cheap.
