Good things
* it has 4 different freq you can save and chose from . I was a bit dubious about the strength as I has an itrip and it was rubbish .. but this worked great on freq .901 . I did however open the unit up to look at the aerail and its not a bad size. you can however increase this if required. i might get some thicker coper wire and try creating a larger internal aerial . The reason these transmitters are week is so they dont break uk radio liecening laws. But if you mod the internal aerail sure you can get much better reception.. Just hope the car next to you in at triffic lights is not tuned into the same freq.
Anyway i digress. It did what it said on the tin .. not bad design .. the goose next is metal and so very sturdy and has a cool blue light when you turn it on via the on/off switch found on the lighter mount. Lighter fitting is also very tight so should stay in . I have taken mine apart to hardwire into my TT . coz Iam sad like that.
