all in one music centre

(5 out of 5) by B. S. Kaila on Aug 30, 2009 (birmingham)
I've had this for month now and I'm so happy i brought this, its the ultimate music database, I've stored most off my music albums on to the hdd off the giga juke its so easy to use, simply put a CD in the drive press hdd transfer and its done although it copies at 4x speed which is bit slow, i find transferring music from usb stick is easier and faster and you can create music folders on your PC and this will be stored as albums on the unit. the screen is very clear and track/ albums are clearly displayed, sound quality is good for the size off the speakers and the unit allows basic adjustments off treble and bass although i would have liked to have more sound options. The unit has a database off 40,000 songs and it found all the track names and albums i put on, but you can update the units database by using a usb stick to add extra track data. The days off shuffling around the house looking for that special cd or album are now over, at a touch off a button you could be listening to Jackson five or ub40 its that simple not to mention that the dab tuner is good quality and you can record dab radio programmes to the hdd using the timer. It Evan has a ipod dock. Sony has put a lot off tech and features into this unit all tucked in a well built highly polished unit well done sony.

Good kitchen stereo

(5 out of 5) by Dr. S. Kasparov on Oct 10, 2009 (UK)
This is classic Sony product - very technologically advanced, all features there, including HDD and 3 different tuners. Sound overall good for this class of products, after all they are only made to deliver the quality at MP3 level, not the real sound. One thing which could be improved the the display which is at a fixed angle and it is only really easy to see when it is on a low table, not on a shelf like I have it. The handling of the titles of the CDs which you import is a bit clumsy, for some reason instead of just saving the discs in the folders with their names which it reads from the CD, it just calls them Disc 1, 2 etc. So you have to manually re-name later. But overall - a good unit for "general" use.

sony gigajuke

(4 out of 5) by Mrs. J. M. J. Roberts on Oct 21, 2009 (uk)
First one had to be sent back as disc tray not working properly but amazon were v quick to dispatch another before we even returned the faulty one. Great piece of kit, just wished the lcd display was in colour and supported the album label as your mp3 player does. Plenty of power beind the sound and very good clarity, looks stylish too.

More than happy with this music system.
Easy to use and fantastic sound quality from this item
Loads of room on the hard drive for CD's and the DAB radio works fine.
Only problem was i noticed i could have got it £40 cheaper off Argos 2 days after purchase.
