Light Weight Big Sound. Easy Setup
Had been looking for a Sony giga juke box style player but then saw this. Hadn't been too impressed with display on hard disk systems i had seen, and everyone in the house has and is used to IPODs. This is great, unpacked and working in a couple of minutes. Plug in the base unit, attached IPOD to transmitter, selected track and off it went. Sounds crisp and clear, though we are decorating at the moment, so the house is a little echoy.
Being able to change track/playlist/artist/album and volume all from the Ipod is ideal solution for us, base unit will sit in dining room and we can control it from any roon downstairs it seems. So you can sit in the comfort of an armchair and control the music.
I do sometimes get a break in the wireless connection (so music stops) as I move with the Ipod from one room to another, but as soon as you put Ipod down it links back quickly.
Overall great systems, maybe not top notch sound quality, but better than many others and simple to set up and use.

Worth the extra over the rest
On the face of it an expensive ipod dock in a crowded market which was not dispelled after unpacking and setting up the unit. It seems quite small and unassuming for the cost. But the sound is simply fantastic. Detailed and powerful for it's size and it's just the easiest piece of kit to use - you just use the ipod. Well worth the cost over the other inferior offerings out there.
Just the job
I think this is a great product. Works with my iPod (6th gen) and iPhone (3g). Sound quality is very good. Wireless transmitter works at reasonable distance, although tends to require line of sight. The transmitter comes with it's own dock so the iPod/iPhone can be charged whilst playing. Undocked it does drain iPod/iPhone battery of course, but it's still played for hours without being completely discharged. Unit isn't as big as I thought either.
