I have owned many HiFi brands over the years, and really do appreciate good systems.

I tried several other offerings, Bose, B&W and Logitec... Read lots of reviews, and in the end plumbed for the Kicker iK500. Believe me, this is a seriously loud and quality sounding peice of kit. I generally agree, for once, with What HiFi (Bias reviews to its advertisers) that the B&W Zeppelin has serious competition. At £130 this unit is much better value then the Zeppelin(£400 ish) and all other sub £200 brands I demo'd for the matter. (Humble opinion) Well worth the money at this price.

P.S hopefully music companies will start recording CD's properly again. Either that, bring back vinyl in a big way...

Received this three days ago and I am still very impressed at how good it sounds. A wonderful deep base echos throughout every song. I would recommend this item to anybody. Finally I have a sound system for my Itouch and it also charges the Itouch( a Problem with various other models).
Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Ive had a fair few speakers for my Ipods, I was interested in the Bose amongst others and tried many new models out. What I was looking for mostly was something loud with a good bass. The Kicker I500 surpased my expectations. I took a gamble because i couldnt listen to them before purchasing as no shops were selling them. I went by other reviews. The speakers are so loud, it was like having my seperate amp and speakers hooked up again. The bass is superb and doesnt distort at highlevels. There also is bass and treble adjustment and the speakers work with my Iphone 3G without the need to go into flight mode. Also charges my Iphone aswell. The remote is excellent as you can scroll though songs go back through playlists etc so there is no need to use the ipod buttons.
These speakers have been reduced in price so excellent value. The speakers sound so much better than any speaker the Apple store is selling. I can assure anyone interested in a loud good sound quality Ipod speakers you wont get much better than this.
A must purchase

The station as I had read charges the ipod 2nd generation while it's playing, the quality is great, really deep bass and very clear highs. Very powerful, I still could not reach the maximum volume. More than enough for a big room, including a party.

Cons: maybe too big for easy transport or if you dont have a lot of space. It comes with a P2 cable to connect normal mp3, laptop but it's too short, they could spare some cents making it at least 50cm long.

I took a chance and purchased this for use with my ipod classic. Its portable it charges my ipod, the sound quality is incredible, for the price this has to be the best thing available for ipod. I have owned bose and pioneer products in the past and this is better than any of them. Anybody thinking of purchasing an ipod docking station need look no further
