I spent weeks researching my foray into Blueray and it was clear that there was no point getting a BR player if your sound system dates back to the 90's (particularly if your three year old daughter has poked out the speaker cones with her little pinky!). I would have liked to go separates as some of my friends kept recommending, but my budget would not stretch that far. Samsung was high on my list, but the helpful Amazon reviews indicated that they have a few too many bugs to go with them (Ipod playing issues, cooling fan issues and poor customer service)
Panasonic rarely has negative feedback, quality shines through and so I compromised on a couple of features I would have liked (more HDMI slots and no built-in Wi-Fi) and I have to say I am not disapointed. The speakers are discrete, set-up was a sinch and the performance is awesome. Delivery was fast (I live in Ireland), the posty was very jealous and has asked for some home cinema advice - I think you can see the direction I might point him in!
The Ipod feature is excellent also, works really well.

First of all let me thank Amazon for great service. I orderd this on Friday at 2pm. 8am next day I'm setting it up. Set up is easy, less than 30min. Sound and vision is AWESOME! So far I've played CD,DVD,BD,ipod and radio. Have yet to play Xbox, but I'm sure it won't disapoint.The sound is punchy and it's great that you can change many of it's
settings. The last system I had was disapointing in that respect.
Picture qulity is superb. Upscaling DVD is great and I'm now playing CD's that I had long forgotten.
Rear speaker cable is a tad too short for my room,but you have the option of having all speakers in the front which still sounds great. I also have Sky+ connected and movies sound fantastic.
At this price, with all the reserch that I've done, you would do well to beat it.

On opening the packaging on the SC-BT200 Blu-ray Theater System i was most impressed on how easy everything was to set up. The instructions were easy to follow and the auto-speaker setup was abreese! For an all-in-one system the sound is amazing,sonically it avoids a boomy bass,more of ataut,precise delivery. The intergrated slot for your ipod is a real treat,and you're greeted with well-balanced tunes. Overall the Panasonic BT-200 presses all the right bottons. You won't be disappionted!

I recently purchased the BT200 and I must say this product is worth every penny I paid for it, Picture wise colours are bright and vivid, and the sound quality is second to none. I did a lot of research before I took the plunged and bought this product, and I know there is nothing out there in that price range that can top the BT 200.

Playing Ipods on this unit also sounds clear and solid with the sub woofer kicking in to give the low end plenty of depth. Watching you flat screen TV would never be the same again the silly speakers they put in flatscreens don't come near the sound that this produces, as soon as you turn the sound down on your TV and you turn up the Panasonic you will be amazed at the sound quality and ask yourself why you waited so long before you up graded.

The only gripes I have about the BT 200 is that when you first turn the unit on it goes through it's Please Wait phase before it come on and takes about 20 seconds or so but that is about the only niggle I have with this machine.

One more thing to mention the expert's out there who review these product's in there magazine's say this is not a good looking system I beg to differ the LG for instance have these glossy pretty speakers but for me there to big when you hear the sound that comes out of the Centre speaker and the little Satellites you'll see and hear there is no need for them to be that big.

Just to end this review as I could go on, this is one hell of surrond sound system and if you have the extra cash to pay for this system I dare you not be impress by the quality of sound and build and if you think my review is a bit bias check out what What-Hifi has to say about this system.

Is this the award winning system or is it the SC-BT200 and not the SC-BT200E. Please could someone advise and please could Amazon check and change all the What HiFi Award links if they are incorrect!
