Great concept phone, covers all aspects!
(5 out of 5) by DST UK on Jul 9, 2009 (UK)The new 6461 is a wired desk phone and a cordless handset, up to 5 more cordless handsets can be added. The wired desk phone WILL work in event of a power failure but obviously the cordless handsets do not work without power.
You have the ability to wall mount the main phone and the cradle plus you have 100 name and number memory in each handset (its not shared but can be exported from one to another). Calls can be transferred from one handset to another and 3 way calls can be made. The 6461 is a lower spec phone but is fine for most users, if you wanted to have a better cordless handset then the higher spec 840 handset is fully compatible.
