Class Portable DAB Radio
I first bought a Sony DAB Radio and the instructions were as clear as mud. However, the radio was good but I wanted something a little better and louder.
After having this one demonstrated to me I bought it and have no regrets.
The instruction manual is easy to follow and the radio is easy to use.
The reception is very clear, it comes with a carry handle (missing on a lot of radio's these days) an actual volume control that you turn (something else missing on many radio's today) a tone control, and it looks very classy and above all very robust.
Yes it is made of plastic, but very good plastic.
I would recommend this and every Roberts radio because a lot of Pure radio's, you are forced into buying their special battery packs which are expensive.
If you plan to mostly use this radio via the mains and then sometimes use it on battery, the batteries last a very long time.
If you want it to work exclusively on batteries then they still last longer than normal - and shopping around and you will be able to buy cheap batteries anyway.
All in all a first class radio from a well respected manufacturer.

roberts radio
First class reception. Easy to set up pre-set buttons, and I particularly like the tone control. The tone and volume control knobs are easy to find and use, especially in the dark. Being over 80 years old, such things become important!

Excellent!
I bought this DAB radio as a present for my wife. She thinks it's excellent and so do I. Very easy to use, good sound and light & portable. Seems to work very well on batteries and doesn't eat them. This was our first DAB radio and we can find no fault with it. Seems to be very good value for money.

Great
Not had a DAB before but excellent sound quality and eco to boot so no complaints at all. Well worth it!

Brilliant DAB radio
We got this radio for our guest bedroom, and all our guests have been bowled over by it - not just its simplicity (you get that with most DAB radios), but its tone, easy to use controls and its sheer classic good looks. It is brilliantly simple to set up (you almost don't need the instruction manual), as well as to add any new channels when they become available. And it has the added advantage of having FM too, should one want (for example) local radio stations. Excellent value for money!
