Great DVD recorder

(4 out of 5) by Mrs. Rosemary Kind on Jul 23, 2009 (Bedford)
Thi DVD recorder is very good - easy to use once you get used to it. I would have given it 5 stars except that I haven't managed to set the recorder while continuing to view/listen to a program which can be annoying if you suddenly remember that you have not set it to record later on when you have gone out. I am a bit of a technophobe but have managed to conquer this little beast quite well. I am sure that | still have a lot to learn but have been able to make DVDs of my daughter's wedding from my camcorder which is one of the reasons I bought it. I am learning as I go along!

FIRST CLASS PRODUCT

(5 out of 5) by Mr. J. P. Mcnamara on Jul 15, 2009
I have just bought a Panasonic DMR-EX769EB to replace a Samsung Recorder which lasted less than two years. The best thing I ever did. This product is easy to use, the on screen display is very easy and quick to use and to top it all the picture display is first class, unlike the Samsung product.

My experience of Panasonic DVD recorders

(1 out of 5) by Gajet on Jun 19, 2009
NOT DIRECTLY RELEVANT TO THIS PARTICULAR MODEL but I've had to give a star rating of some sort before these comments could be accepted for this site.
I've now had 5 unsatisfactory Panasonic DVD recorders...one DMR-RES10, two DMR-ES20 and now two DMR-EZ27........each chosen because there has been so little choice of other makes available with DVD-RAM capability.
They have all packed up or developed serious problems shortly after the manufacturers one-year guarantee has expired.
I have been considering this product, which has a Hard Disk Drive, but the associated noise from the fan is a major concern.
I wish Panasonic would get them sorted out before putting them on the market instead of relying on the public to test them at their own expense.

excellent product

(5 out of 5) by Jasper on Oct 18, 2009 (UK)
Great delivery came when advised and the recorder was exactly as described I particularly liked the ability to ask questions before ordering.

Easy to set up and to work nice remote with easy buttons not too small; some manufacturers seem to make remotes very difficult to use not this one.

Would recommend this to anyone
