Did a bit of research as I wanted a good zoom. Just back from Spain and I took some amazing photos. My husband was impressed, he has a SLR camera and some shots came out better on mine than his. Easy to use, I wanted to just point and shoot. Very pleased with this camera.
Panasonic TZ6
Very very good camera! I had a 5 mega pixel camera before this one and did not no how rubbish it was till I got this one.
The video capture is billiant, but I wish I would of dug a bit deeper into my savings to get the next one up which is the TZ7
which has HD video! The still pictures on this camera are outstanding and are just as good as any professional picture when blown up! iA (intellagent auto mode) makes it easy to get the best results without having to fiddle with all kinds of settings, it does it for you! I would not recomend any other cameras to any one than the TZ6/ TZ7.

Panasonic Lumix TZ6 Digital Camera - Silver
A good camera, clear pictures, decent size viewing screen (2.5"), 12x zoom, easy to operate, battery supplied.
Only problem i have found is that you have to buy very expensive spare Panasonic batteries for it which are at present around £45 each. Other companies out there are not as yet making their own versions at a cheaper rate.

An eye opener
When I decided to upgrade my digital camera I asked in the local shops which was the best buy. I was told that the Panasonic was one of the best and his family used nothing else. He was right, it works superbly as both a camera and for its display of the pictures. I was specially taken by the holiday programme that I used on my first major outing with the camera.
