A Gem of a camera

The menu system is relitively straight forward and the camera is quite well specked giving many entry level features. The image quality is great for such a compact camera with a good lens(for this price & type of camera). A 5 star recomendation for anyone wanting a basic point & shoot camera which will produce excellent results in a compact shell.

Camera

Houghton on Oct 30, 2009I purchased the camera as gift for my Mum's 60th Birthday as I had recently bought this camera for myself, great camera easy to use, and delivery was made within timescales, my only problem the charger plug was broken when it was delivered, I have contacted the seller, however not had a response! very disappointing!!

Get a canon instead...video quality terrible...lens broken after a week

Mason on Aug 22, 2009Bought this as my canon ixus was 4 years old and only 3mega pixles, it looked good, does take nice shots but the focusing goes in and out lots before focusing, the time from pressing the button to taking a photo is way slower than my old cannon so you miss the good action moments.
Shutter started not opening and closing properly after a week, and video quality is like a colour version of a cini film, totally grainy with streaks and lines running down.
If you want a small camera that takes great shots everytime and great macro, that you can chuck around, stick in your back pocket for over 4 years choose a cannon, and I cant even notice the difference between this 10 mega pixes and my old cannon 3 mega pixles, even when blowing up?
