I bought this camera after much research on the web etc and on the strength of other 5* reviews. I can honestly say that I am not disappointed. It is early days yet but so far the Intelligent Auto does everything that I would ever expect of a compact digital camera. Manual controls seem straightforward but why would you want to use them when you get the same results by pointing and shooting!

This is the first digital camera I've bought in about five years and I'm impressed with the quality of the pictures compared to the Nikon I had been using.

Really simple to use, I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a simple camera that can nevertheless take great photos.

I recently bought this camera to use on holiday and have been delighted with the results. I am a novice photographer but have found it fairly easy to find my way around the various menus & features. For the price its hard to fault the build quality and it takes good photos in most situations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this camera.

After a very quick delivery, I was keen to get used to using it (as I was going to a wedding a couple of days later), I was very impressed how simple it was to use, and I didn't even need to ask my daughter to show me what to do.

I am used to using SLR's but this is by far the best compact camera I have ever used. No matter what setting you are on esp IE the camera just seems to work out everything itself. The skin setting in just brilliant for portrait shots. If you want a totally foolproof camera that gives fabulous results this is the camera to buy.
