Laptop review

Buttons on mouse pad are too small, easy to miss them when working without external mouse. Blu Ray great, sound can be tinny and resonating - disappointing.
MS office 2007, disappointing, no Outlook; did not check suite contents. Overall nice machine and can work as a desktop replacement.

Super laptop and Desktop

I had initially intended to use it with an external monitor and USB docking station, but have decided to dispense with the monitor. The onboard monitor is excellent, big enough for normal use. The extra width facilitates opening multiple windows.
Getting used to Vista had its teething problesm but I am now happy with it.
However, had to upgrade some peripherals such as printer and scanner, in order to fall into line with Bill's Rules. Older kit is no longer supported by either MS or, for example HP.
Still having difficulties making the USB docking station work, though.
