Freesat

After a Sky box, the menus are less user friendly - the structure of the software gets a bit of getting used to. Aligning the dish was a sod - but this is Freesat not Humax - though Humax could help better by giving more reception information.
Having got rid of an old Sky box + video recorder, the transition to a hard disk system is excellent - this is in France, have Freeview hard disk system in UK.
Reception in South of France is excellent also.

As good as expected

Humax freesat HD Double tuner

Horrocks on Aug 15, 2009 (Mayenne France)The Humax freesat is really good, you can watch one & record one or record two channels at the same time which is handy to me, as i live in France where programmes start later than in the UK. Also the programmes shown in the menu are the ones you get ( not like sky )

How good is this!!!!!!

The video playback is superb. Just make sure the remote is fully pointed at the box and the buttons well pushed!!!!!!
