Good Router
When I ordered this I was in fear of setting it up when it arrived. No need to worry within five minuets it was up and running. The easy walkthrough instructions on the disk where very clear and simple. I am running three computers from it and storage, nothing could have been easier, well done Belkin. My internet speed has increased, much better than my older modem. Thoroughly recommended to anyone with no technical no how, like me.

Easy setup and good value for money
I've had several Belkin router products before and all have performed for me without issue. This latest device allowed me to make the move up to N specification for the wireless network. Testing this in a "old" house build around 1900 (thick walls), I was able to watch TV streamed to a laptop across several rooms.
Setting up the router was easy with a step by step guide. The only issue I had was when trying to connect to a Playstation 3, where I couldn't use my chosen security protocol and I had to drop back to using WEP encryption to get the two devices to talk to each other. Once I'd made this change then everything has worked solidly since.

This was a no go!
Having had a Belkin router for around 4 years with no real problems, and reading these reviews, we felt that Belkin was definately the make for us. We needed an upgrade for all our gadgets. However, after a weekend of phoning Belkin technical support and numerous calls to our IP because it was not picking up our phone line, the final straw came when we were told that we needed to download an update from the internet! When we said we were not able to connect to the internet (after a weekend of calls saying this very thing), we were told that we need to go to an internet cafe (we live in rural North Devon), download the update onto a memory stick, then put it on our computer! This was for a product which we had just bought, brand new! We didn't feel that we wanted to travel around in search of an internet cafe! Instead, we returned the product to PC world, exchanged it for a Netgear N, which took 10 minutes to set-up with no expensive phone calls needed!
Perhaps we were just unlucky, but Belkin, You really disappointed!!!

excellent for HD streaming. Belkin Customer service is excellent
An excellent modem/router. We had a netgear g modem which has died, due to 'overheating'!!! This easily surpasses it.
A few installation problems of adding an additional old wireless laptop which involved me talking to belkin over their messenger service, it was operational after 10 mins. Their customer service is excellent!
Ok the modem itself. Looks very nice, with the blue lights on the front. Speed is excellent. I have 2 laptops, desktop pc and ps3 attached to it, and all can run with a download program going, internet being used and also HD movies (25mbps) streaming to ps3 from pc effortlessly with no glitches whatsoever.
Also comes with a lifetime guarantee, so should the worst happen, you just post it back to belkin and they'll send you a new one out.
An excellent product.

Update - works much better
Bought this router to replace a four year old Belkin router which no longer offered updated drivers (rev 1 of the FD5320 if you're interested).
Installation was very simple. Configuration v similar to previous model and much more straightforward than some of the BT routers I have come across.
New tech for me means better average connection speed, available updates, improved security, it looks nicer (vertical with cool blue lit icons which actually mean something sensible!) and a smaller plug.
Now as for the N thing: Well I reckon this appears to mean that your LAN speed will be better which probably means a lot if you have a lot of wireless clients. Like most people, I only have a small number of such things - 2 laptops and a couple of mobile phones so I cannot really say how much better this is. As for range: Wireless N still won't go though granite walls any better than B, G or MIMO+!! If you have "air" or cavity walls then maybe it might prove advantageous....
So far so good though.
