If you are wondering why Panasonic should make two 7.2v batteries which look identical but are significantly different in price, the more expensive of which has a serial number VW-VBG130, but the cheaper one not having a serial number quoted...well, wonder no more. They don't make two batteries; this is VW-VBG130. I was looking for an aditional battery for my HDC TM300 and couldn't see why Panasonic would make different batteries for pretty much the same camcorders but with different features, so I took a punt. It is exactly the same battery as came with my camera; same serial number, same fitting. It is the VW-VBG130. Marketing, Amazon? Ethics?

I was very unsure about ordering this item as the reference number and description and model numbers for compatibility did not correspond with what my Panasonic user guide said I needed. Thankfully it was ok.
