After about an hour trying unsuccessfully to get the TV to work, not easy when the instructions are written in broken English and the remote control does not work, started to feel life is simply to short. Eventually got my money back under distance selling regulations. I think the last sentence of Mr Martins review is key. If planning to buy one of these (1) it may be worth familiaring yourself with the Office of Fair Trading website - their helpline was excellent (2) DONT remove the seal from the LCD screen or damage any of the packaging in case you want to send it back. The company we bought from was very particular about this!

If you are looking for a multi-region 10 in 1 device (DVD, MP3, TV etc....) then this product might be for you, UNLESS you want a decent high definition screen. I was immensely dissapointed by the resolution of this player. I wish I could trade all those other functions for better screen resolution..

ill keep this short and to the point. i recently purchased this and it came pretty fast. the quality of the picture is great and you relly get the full picture due to the big screen. i dont know about other people saying this is no where near hd becuase for me it is. the price was a bit steep compared to others and it has no big brand but that doesnt worry me now because the prodcut does everything it says it should.

I don't know who these other reviewers are, or where they bought this item, but the glowing reviews they've given this lump of rubbish are (imho) ridiculous. I bought one of these on a famous online auction site after searching for reviews online and reading all of the above. I waited in anticipation for this fantastic machine to arrive, plugged it in, put on one of my favourite films and wallop, my heart sank -

I am absolutely gutted. And the company I bought it off (there's only one on that site, I'm sure you've already found them) refused to refund my money without a valid fault in the equipment.

Please, don't fall for all this baloney.
IT IS ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. You'll be better off buying something off the shelf by the check-out in Aldi's.

TOMORROW'S JUNK, TODAY. It is as far away as you can get from HD without rubbing your eyeballs with sandpaper.

By a brand name and buy it from a real shop where you can take a look at it first.

This is an awesome player. I travel a lot and easily bored, so it has become my best friend, on airplanes, trains. I could read book, But I much rather be watching my DVD's and watching my favorite soaps on the road.

It is fairly easy to use, but does take a bit of time to get used it. Plays almost everything - Not 100% - but find that I can re- copy - especially copied DVD if I have problem. No problems with originals. The sound and the picture are pretty great. Bought the recommended Arial by Amazon, but found that to be a bit weak, so I just bought a stronger one from eBay.

It is pretty good portable DVD player, with many functions and if you are looking for portable DVD player, you should definitely consider this little gem.
