I was having a look on Intempo's website and ended up crying with laughter at their blog - there really should be more Doris' in the world! - and since I try to make a point of buying British, thought would plunge for their new Insession ipod speaker.

I have been more than impressed so far - solid sound, small size and plenty of volume. My son is in a school rock band and he deems the speakers good enough to listen to Satriani on! The remote comes with bass and treble controls so suit the music you're listening to, and it also plays AND charges my brand new iPod nano 4th gen - which other speakers seem to have trouble doing! My husband also thinks it's stylish enough to put in our recently decorated study, which is a major brownie point for the insession.

Have used this product for several weeks. Whilst you won't ever get as good a quality of sound as from a proper system, it is perfectly acceptable for all types of music. I use it with an Ipod Nano, have had no problems, sound is good enough with both rock and classical music and it is very easy to use. It also charges the Nano whilst playing. It does have a remote control but everything is so small you still have to get up and go to the player in order to read!! All in all, a very good product for the price and have no complaints at all.

I bought this iPod dock station to bring with me on holiday and it suprised me how good the sound was and how loud it could go. I'm sure its not the best sound quality but if you want that you will have to pay four times as much. I use it now at home and it does a really good job...handy remote to!

this is a cool wee box.
i wasnt sure how good this product would perform.but wow the sound of it is amazing.i think it sounds better than a cd does.the bass is amazing also the treble is just write.i would recomend this ipod player to anyone.i even bought another one for my bed room.

I always like to read up first before parting with cash, I wanted a dock that had the best possible sound. I had made my mind up on a bose system costing £340 and was just about to order it when this little box was given as a recommendation from amazon, thinking " I will trust the reviews and chance it " I ordered one for on site or in the garden.

It has arrived, the next day and is now in pride of place in my lounge, in the very spot I had ear marked for the bose system.

Great looks, great sound you would never believe from such a small box and great value for money.. And it will play an iphone, not that it is desined too.
