I'd read some reviews about the duplex unit and thought it would be tricky to set up. I was wrong. I just snapped the unit onto the back of my PX700W (great printer), clicked on the 'Page Layout' tab of the Printer Properties window and selected Auto under '2-sided printing'. Double-sided printing. Done. If you have a PX700 or 800 you should get this.

Just received this duplex unit.
Plugged it in and set print properties and it was working in 10 minutes.
Contrary to another review it does work wirelessly.

The Epson Auto Duplex Unit is easy to fit, since it simply slides and clicks into place. It is also very easy to use, provided you read "Duplex Printing with the Auto Duplexer" in the "Doing More with your Printer" section of the html "User Guide" which is installed during set up. The only point to notice - which does get one brief mention in the User Guide - is that you can't do two-sided printing wirelessly. If you've already connected your printer wirelessly, you simply need to connect it to your computer using a usb cable, and the required direct connection will be automatically set up. All you need do thereafter is remember to connect the usb cable if you require two-sided printing, and select the appropriate option in the printer dialogue box - in my case the "Epson PX700W Series" rather than the default "Epson Stylus Photo PX700W(Network)". Despite this one proviso, the Printer and Duplex Unit, together, in my view, are a delightful double.

Very simple to fit within seconds and is great, once you have sussed the settings out in your printer preferences double sided printing away you go

Downside is that it adds onto your printer at the back so it makes it even bigger but if its doubleside printing your after then this is for you.

The product is functional and does what it says on teh box. Double sided printing is definitely a more ecological way of priting.
