Picked this up at Currys for £29.35. It's not the best printer in the world, but costs the same as the ink cartridges on my old HP deskjet (6yrs old) so pretty much a free trial! It's a bit clunky, usual inkjet noise levels. Output copy/scan/print are fine and quick enough. Given that the ink cartridges supplied with the unit are full, this is a real bargain. Ongoing ink costs look low too....

If you want a top notch printer then clearly you need to spend more than the price of a decent curry. If you want a straightforward family printer then look no further.

I bought this all-in-one at the end of September (from Currys, not Amazon). It lasted about 8 weeks before it stopped feeding paper - it didn't jam, the sheet feeder just stopped moving the paper onto the rollers. I took it back to the shop and they (allegedly) arranged with Epson for a replacement to be supplied, but when I checked back with the shop a week later the old one hadn't even been sent away, and they even tried to give it back to me telling me it had been swapped out, when it was obvious from the portable appliance test sticker that it was the same unit. I only paid £39.99, and I should have known that you get what you pay for. My last Epson.

Noisy and slow, treat yourself to something better. Its £30 at PC World, but dont be fooled into a bargain. You'll be buying a better printer within 2 months.
