Excellent piece of kit. purchased this for my dad for his birthday. Couldn't have asked for better for the money. sound quality is fantastic along with the build quality and styling.

Roberts stream202 dab/fm/wifi

(5 out of 5) by J. LAMBERT on Nov 27, 2009 (surrey, U.K.)
I found the radio very good, it takes a little bit of working out how it all works but when you've done that its great. In my area DAB is a total waste of time so the wifi works out well with the FM as back up. the radio is small and easy to take with you with the battery back up, it as a good sound as well. I think having all three WIFI,DAB & FM, is a big plus and if the DAB system in the county ever works as it should all over the U.K. it will be even better. In fact I'm thinking of buying another one as I can't get the first one away from my wife.

WIFI review

(5 out of 5) by M. Cook on Nov 17, 2009 (Saudi Arabia)
I am an expatriate and I bought the radio to capitalise on its WIFI capabilities to capture my favourite UK radio stations both national and local.

The radio has lived up to my expectations and is relatively simple to operate in the WIFI mode. There is no chance to use the DAB and FM as they are not available.

I use the radio at various locations both inside and outside of my residence and my only complaint is that I would prefer to have a rechargeable battery rather than the current mode that requires dry cell batteries.

A custard-free zone!!

(5 out of 5) by Mr. P. Carr on Nov 9, 2009 (UK)
I don't normally write reviews but I have been so impressed with this product that I feel compelled to sing its praise!
Having moved house 2 years ago to a part of the country with abyssmal FM coverage and no DAB at all, I have spent many nights listening to Classic FM and Radio 3 with a sound quality akin to the speaker being wrapped in a sock full of custard.
I have pondered about buying an internet radio for a while and after reading many reviews plumped for the Roberts Stream 202.
Revellation. IT IS BRILLIANT.
Easy 5 minute set-up.
Switch on, enter your wireless security code then straight into CRYSTAL CLEAR music. The choice of stations is breath-taking and they are easy to access.
If you want fuss-free high quality radio with ease of use and stunning sound quality then look no further.
I can GUARANTEE that you will not be disappointed.
Carlsberg don't make radios, but if they did..............

Easy set-up for internet
easy menu. didn't even look at the instructions to set this up. it's that easy.
nice design
takes an awful lot of batteries but last a long time 6 x d cells. amazing they all fit in there!
pity there's no bass and treble controls, but sound is good and loud too!
fm is quite sensitive
dab is good considering i live in what looks like a black hole at those frequencies.
