Very happy with the radio. Delivers what it says it will and is easy to set up. Would recommend it.

Easy to use, nice sound quality, exactly what I wanted for Internet radio listening. Easy to set up.

Stream 202

Excellent product - very versatile. Pity there is no visual indicator (eg LED) with the ON/OFF button. Rotary selector is very sensitive so you have to get used to this. However setting up WiFi is easy. Best of all worlds by providing FM/DAB/Wifi/MP3 all in one single portable unit. No problem with delivery to Ireland.

Excellent internet radio and media player

(5 out of 5) by M. Anderson on Oct 17, 2009 (Swansea, UK)
Radio reception is poor in our kitchen so I can't comment on the DAB and FM receivers on this radio. However the internet radio is magic. My wireless network is WPA encrypted but with the passphrase key this radio was connected in under a minute. Over a week of use not a single drop out or loss of connection. Sound quality is excellent and it feels well put together.

One tip is that there is a software update online for this radio and it is worth downloading this before you do anything else as the settings are reset by this. Once you have done this there is a vast range of programming and the menu system enables you to access your regular favourites easily.

The radio also accessed my MP3 files which are simply ordered by artist and album once I allowed sharing on the music directory on my computer. Once you have the basics set further internet radio stations and individual favourites list can be set up on the wififrontier-radio website. I found one of our more obscure local radio stations wasn't available on the linked website but a couple of minutes work had it added to the list of stations on the radio.

I'd recommend this highly unless you are a complete technophobe in which case you may be better avoiding internet radio altogether

The Roberts WM202 radio is great as an internet radio and marvellous for streaming your iTunes music anywhere in the house via WiFi. FM is a little hissy and DAB poor in my location but otherwise we are very pleased with it.
We have had no problems with usability and set-up was self explanatory. Others have said the menu system is not clear but we have found no problems.
Could be improved by enabling you to pause podcasts, radio, or adjust the eq (maybe we've missed the options). Would recommend it.
