I bought this because it claimed to work with the iPhone and because it looked quite neat. I'd heard good things about the sound quality but was still surprised when I heard it for real. There's a surprising amount of bass for such a small unit and the fidelity is pretty good to my ears.

Two points knock a star off. Firstly the remote control is virtually useless. I imagine it works better with an iPod than an iPhone but still, it would be nice if the limitations were documented. Secondly, despite claiming to be designed for iPhone, when plugged in iPhones sometimes (but not always) volunteer to switch to flight mode, claiming that the peripheral is not compatible. To be fair you get none of the GSM buzz, the sounds is fine, but the warning is disconcerting.

Overall, one of the better iPhone docks that I've used. I'm not sure that I'd really consider it portable but for home it's great.

I have had this for around two weeks and found that it is quite good qaulity and easy to use.

I already knew that JBL was a good speaker manufacturer, so was confident in the sound quality of this product. It's not the cheapest dock available but as hoped, the quality was excellent, expecially for the size. It's small enough to carry on holiday in its own little carry case. You can also attach any other audio device with a standard stereo jack. The remote even got my old Nano working fine, with lots of adaptors supplied for different iPods. All in all, great sound & value.

Every positive review in here is spot on. I am so impressed at these it almost seems a shame to just use them as portables.

Great sound from these speakers . This is the second set i,ve bought as the original was excellent but wouldn,t charge my new touch so now my daughter has my old ipod and original jbl speaker.
I tried a few different speakers and for the money these were by far the best. definately recommend them
